With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James Keith Rigsby of Bronston, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Rigsby and Mildred Fish Rigsby; his wife Carolyn Rigsby; his daughter Wendy Gail Rigsby; and his siblings, Benjamin Harry Rigsby and Karen Schmidt.
He is survived by: his children, Vincent Rigsby (Monica) of Texas, Tara Bohn (Brad) of Indiana and Danielle Ruble of Charleston, Indiana; and his brothers, Charles Fred Rigsby of Kentucky and Gerald Rigsby (Claudia) of Indiana. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren; and a host of friends and other family members.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Southern Oaks Funeral Home (2110 KY-914, Somerset, KY 42503). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 at 1:30 PM and at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Shriners Hospital or St. Jude Hospital.
