He was predeceased by: his parents, Joddy Carrender and Gladys Neeley Carrender Troxtel; his son Michael Jason Wells; his brother Jonathan Carrender (Johnny); and his grandparents, Richard, Rilda Carrender, John and Jane Neeley.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Brinson Carrender; his children, Johnathan Brinson (Heather) of Brighton, CO, Cody Carrender of Somerset, Tonya Flynn of Somerset and Keisha Bickford (Kevin) of West Virginia; his stepfather Ray Troxtel of Somerset; his grandchildren, Isabella, Braiden, Jason, Kelsey, Connor, Madyson, Michael, Allison, Jamison, Kenzie and Kaylee; his siblings, Calvin Carrender (Gloria) of Bronston, Kim Lowe (Steve) of Monticello, Misty Dobbs (Tim) of Whitley City and Heather Carrender of Somerset; his uncle Thurman Carrender of Bronston; his aunts, Della Branscum (Newdeal) of Bronston and Norma Hardwick (Gary) of Bronston; and his close friends, Wesley and Peggy Ross.
