It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kellie Jo Hammers of Brooks, Kentucky, who passed away on October 6, 2025, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Kellie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Kellie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She was predeceased by: her parents, William C. Brennenstuhl and Marjorie Nell Brennenstuhl (Potter). She is survived by: her pets, Myla, Lacey and Zoey; her significant other Anthony Croswait; her siblings, Tina Kallin (Thomas), Marsha Kelley (Eddie) and Kevin Brennenstuhl (Deborah); and her siblings' children, Nina Tolliver, Christopher Sanders and Chaise Kelley. She is also survived by 5 great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY 40165).
