He was predeceased by: his father Bob Bentley; and his wife Carol Sue "Susie" Bentley. He is survived by: his mother Dottie Bentley; his children, Kimberly Bentley, Robert Bentley and Richard Bentley; his siblings, Jeanie Gammon, Jessica Price (David) and Robert Bentley (Kelli); his grandchildren, Hannah Smith (Billy) and Nathaniel Bratcher; his great grandchild Novaleigh Smith; and his girlfriend Joanne Mello. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at the Bethany Memorial Cemetery (10917 Dixie Hwy, Valley Station, KY 40272).
