She was predeceased by: her parents, William Forest and Velma Massey Buchanan; her son-in-law Anthony Stout; and her siblings-in-law, Al and Dorothy Bauer.

She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Bauer; her children, Shelly Stout of Tollesboro, KY and Anthony "Buck" Bauer (Jara) of Brooksville, KY; her grandchildren, Alexis Bauer and Clayton Bauer; her brother Kenny Buchanan (Bonnie) of Foster, KY; her sisters-in-law, Elaine Douglas (Rick) of Morehead, KY and Sis (Timmy); and her aunt Gevie Bauer. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to St. James Cemetery, Willow Baptist Church or Hospice of Hope.
