He was predeceased by: his parents, Golden Willhite and Julia Willhite (Erb); and his sister Margaret "Peggy" Ray. He is survived by: his wife Genie Willhite (Scharber); and his children, Melissa Miller (George) of Maysville, KY and Daniel Eugene Willhite, Jr. (Emily) of Butler. He is also survived by four grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Moore & Parker Funeral Home - Brooksville (41 Hackett Ridge Rd, Brooksville, KY 41004). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
