She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyd Lee and Mary Higgins (Courtney); her husband Orville Ray Gillespie; her son Calvin Gillespie; her grandson Justin Gillespie; and her sisters, Ilene Woodhead and Anna Lee Colemire.
She is survived by: her children, Peggy Armor (Bob) of Cincinnati, OH and Ronnie Dale Gillespie of Augusta; her grandchildren, Chris Perkins, Jeremy Perkins, Grant Gillespie, Kenton Gillespie, Ronnie Gillespie, Jr. and Dustin Gillespie; and her brother Kenny Higgins of Butler, KY.. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moore & Parker Funeral Home-Brooksville (41 Hackett Ridge Rd, Brooksville, KY 41004). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
