James Lovins Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Lovins (Brooksville, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 29, 2026 at the age of 73. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Lovins and Bertha Lovins (Stewart); and his siblings, Foster Lovins, Gilbert Lovins, Tommy Lovins, Sylvania Hill and Brenda Bogart.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Kay Lovins (Davidson); his children, Jeanette Kay Lovins of Ft. Thomas, KY and J. R. Lovins of Sarasota, FL; his grandchildren, Savannah Leger, Kohl Lovins and Myles Lovins; his great grandchild Levana Coleman; his adoptive daughter Jennifer Adamson; his sisters, Bea Lovins, Nancy Hall and Wendy Lovins; Cashton Adamson and Crosley Adamson.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North (205 Eibeck Ln, Williamstown, KY 41097).
