He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Lovins and Bertha Lovins (Stewart); and his siblings, Foster Lovins, Gilbert Lovins, Tommy Lovins, Sylvania Hill and Brenda Bogart.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Kay Lovins (Davidson); his children, Jeanette Kay Lovins of Ft. Thomas, KY and J. R. Lovins of Sarasota, FL; his grandchildren, Savannah Leger, Kohl Lovins and Myles Lovins; his great grandchild Levana Coleman; his adoptive daughter Jennifer Adamson; his sisters, Bea Lovins, Nancy Hall and Wendy Lovins; Cashton Adamson and Crosley Adamson.
