It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Eugene Ruf (Brooksville, Kentucky), who passed away on May 22, 2026, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie "Les" Ruf and Dorothy Ruf (Day); and his sisters, Bonnie Ruf and Delores Perkins. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Ruf (Williams); his stepchildren, Jessica Baessler (Mike) of Brooksville, KY, Lacey Gray (Joseph) of Foster, KY, Jenna Dean of Dover, KY and Ethan Dean of Augusta, KY; his grandchildren, Lucas McKinney, Seth Purcell, Landon Gray, Ely Dean, Zoey Purcell, Annaliese Baessler, Luna Dean, Josie Dean and Luca Gray; and his siblings, Carolyn Dunn, Alice Flora, Janice Cooke and Darrell Ruf. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moore & Parker Funeral Home-Brooksville (41 Hackett Ridge Rd, Brooksville, KY 41004).
