He is survived by: his great grandchildren, Brantley Roberts and Joshua Burge; his daughter Kim Whitmer (Clif); his grandchildren, Emily Whitmer and Maegan Burge (Colby); and his great grandchildren, Ava Roberts, Grayson Burge, Carter Burge and Camdyn Burge.
