It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lula Mae Elmore of Brownsville, Kentucky, who passed away on May 4, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lula Mae Elmore to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert "A. J." Poteet and Effie Glass Poteet; her son Bobby Elmore; and her great grandchild Makayla Hawks. She is survived by: her spouse Lee Elmore; her daughters, Pat Hawks of Wingfield, Sheron Harper (Butch) of Smiths Grove and Becky Elmore of Owensboro; and her grandchildren, Angela Poteet (Byron), Larry Hawks (Callie), Kevin Hawks, Amie Hawks, Erik Elmore (Ann Marie), Thomas Elmore (Sara), Jon Harper, Jessica Harper and James Lee Edmonds (Kassidy). She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren, along with several nephews, nieces, neighbors and friends.
