Oren E. Poteet Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Oren E. Poteet of Brownsville, Kentucky, who passed away on May 28, 2025 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Oren E. Poteet to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nadene Cobb and Samuel Junior Poteet; and his sisters, Reda Sullivan and Eddith Sullivan. He is survived by: his wife Bettie Ann Poteet; his children, Bobby Poteet (Kim) of Wingfield and Penny Poteet of Wingfield; and his brother L. D. Poteet of Rough River. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cherished friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Shadyland Church of Christ (1665 Shady Land Church Rd, Bowling Green, KY 42101).
