She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Ellen Mays Logan and Frank Dooley Logan; her husband William Stevie Brooks; her son-in-law Edward Gregory; her sisters, Verla Logan, Edith Burnett (Dave), Jean Davis (HC Davis) and Pauline Lawson (LD Lawson); her brother-in-law Arvle Runion; and her brothers, Ed Logan (Alene), Kay Logan, Kyle Logan (Ruth), Jimmy Logan (Virgie) and Johnny Logan.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Brooks (Renee) and Sandra Gregory; her sisters, Irene Runion and Carolyn Lake (Wilburn Lake); her grandchildren, Randy Payne, Stephanie Youngs (Andy), Daniel Payne (Angel), Isaac Brooks (Madelynne), Emily Brooks (Billy Chamberlin), Aaron Gregory (Jennifer) and Shannon Gregory (Sarah); and her great grandchildren, Audrey Payne, Karsyn Payne, Ayden Bargo, Kaylee Gregory, Ella Gregory, Paige Gregory and Geraldine.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hopper Funeral Home (302 N Broadway, Barbourville, KY 40906). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 3:15 PM at the Barbourville Cemetery (106 KY-225, Barbourville, KY 40906).
