Juanita (Spurlock) McIntosh Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juanita (Spurlock) McIntosh of Buckhorn, Kentucky, who passed away on December 4, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ford Spurlock and Ida Spurlock (Morris); her husband William Jerry McIntosh; her sons, Jerry Gwyn McIntosh and Loren McIntosh; and her siblings, Geneva McIntosh, Naomi Hensley, Anna Spurlock, Cleo Spurlock, Ford, Jr. and Curtis Spurlock.

She is survived by: her children, Venita Lynn Laracuente (Domingo) of Clarkson, KY, Darlene Marie Phillips (Frank) of Austell, GA and Larry McIntosh (Shirley) of Buckhorn, KY; her grandchildren, Emma Neace (Dustin) of Gays Creek, KY, Linda Barger of Berea, KY, Nicholas Laracuente (Tiffany) of Frankfort, KY, Brandon Laracuente (Jennifer) of Frankfort, KY, Larry Travis McIntosh (Bambi) of Buckhorn, KY and Frederick Barger (Tammy) of Chavies, KY.; her great grandchildren, Rosemary Eleanor Juanita, Sage, Zoey, Ryker Laracuente, Liberty, Hayden, Blaisley Neace, Preston and Julian McIntosh; and her siblings, Ruth Elliott (William, JR) of Richmond, KY, Bert Spurlock (Thelma) of Clarksville, OH and Wayne Spurlock of Beattyville, KY. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID-19 regulations, Juanita's services will be private with interment of remains at the Spurlock Cemetery, KY HWY 2020, Buckhorn, KY on Friday, December 11, 2020 at 1:00 pm. -Deaton Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
