Lonnie Combs Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lonnie Combs of Buckhorn, Kentucky, who passed away on October 19, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Combs and Cora Combs (Eversole); and his sister Carolyn Turner. He is survived by: his children, Ashley Kaye Abner (Cody) and Joshua Lee Combs (Jennifer); his wife Martha Combs; his sons, Mike and Joey Allen; his grandchildren, Jalen, Logan, Bradley, Aubrey, Beau, Alaina, Maverick and Abigail; and his sisters, Amanda Bowling (Simmie Ray), Joan Belcher, Judy McIntosh (Verdie), Joy Bowling and Jan Moore. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members & friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rock Bottom Baptist Church (3867 State Hwy 2022, Buckhorn, KY 41721). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rock Bottom Baptist Church, or Owsley County Health Care Center in his memory.
