We announce the death of Jimmy Carey of Burgin, Kentucky, who passed away on June 14, 2026, at the age of 58. He was predeceased by: his father James Lewis Carey, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Violet M. Carey of Burgin; his sisters, Mary Donna Carey Holland (Kenneth) of London, KY., Kimberly Stine (John) of Florida, Cynthia Annett Ison (Jeff) of Sadieville and Melissa Charlene Carey Truscott of Harrodsburg; and his nieces and nephews, Misty Day, Donnie (Amanda), Christine Ison, Jessica Ison, Darrell Dearing, Gary Dearing (Kim), Holly Cole (Chad) and Megan Brown (Tevin).
