He was predeceased by: his grandparents, John, Emily Hermes, Ray and Mary "Biz" Barth; his brother Jared Lorenzen; and his aunt Joni Arlinghaus.
He is survived by: his daughter Reagan Hermes; his parents, Jeff Hermes and Janet Hermes; his siblings, Jordan Lorenzen (Ashley Gamell), Jennifer Lorenzen (Brian Lee) and Kyle Hermes; his nieces and nephews, Taylar, Emma Lorenzen, Tayden Lorenzen, Tucker Lee, Carter Lorenzen and Braxton Lorenzen; and his aunts and uncles, Bob Barth (Sue), Dan Barth (Barbara), Ted Arlinghaus, Tom Barth, Patti Dixon (Tim), Linda Rogers (Jerry), Don Barth (Ruthie), Barb Barth (Pat Knapke), Marc Hermes (Lisa Hamilton) and David Hermes (Erin). He is also survived by many cousins, and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has created a memorial account with Fifth Third to support the future of his daughter Reagan, the person he loved most in this world.
