She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter "Buster" Clayton and Verda V. Clayton; her husband John M. Higginbotham, Sr.; and her siblings, Barbara Barker, Vivian Stamper and Orlan Clayton.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Krueger (Pete), Robert H. Higginbotham and John M. Higginbotham, Jr. (Jan); her sister Juanna Barnes; her grandchildren, Brian R. Krueger (Samantha Williamson), Logan Higginbotham (Jessica) and Christian Higginbotham; and her great grandchild Graysen Higginbotham.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Frankfort Cemetery (215 E Main St, Frankfort, KY 40601). A graveside service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
