He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard H. Hazelwood and Alma L. Hazelwood; his brother Steve Hazelwood; his stepdaughter Gaynelle LeGrande; and his former wife Mary Hazelwood.
He is survived by: his wife Carol A. Hazelwood; his daughters, Lisa G. Pflugh (Jason) and Tina D. Hazelwood; his grandchildren, Zachary Johnson, Patrick Pflugh, Caleigh Claypole, Liam Pflugh and Samantha Pflugh; his stepchildren, Vaughn LeGrande and Danielle Palla (Steve); and his sisters, Sharon Hemperley (Glenn), Dawn Morales (Al) and Melody.
In honor of Charles's life and service, memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
