We announce the death of Florence Marie Howard of Burlington, Kentucky, who passed away on July 30, 2026, at the age of 96. Florence will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Stout and Marie Stout; and her sister Frances Horwitz. She is survived by: her husband James B. Howard; her daughters, Jana Lynn Woods (David), Jennifer Ann and Annette Shields (Jeff); her siblings, Carol Wiggins and Frank Stout (Peggy); and her grandchildren, Mike Woods (Sandy), Matthew McGlasson (Margaux), Josh Shields (Chrissy), Jimmy Shields (Chanta), Annie Woods (Romain) and Patrick McGlasson (Bethany). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
