She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Margaret Broadus (White) and John Broadus; her husband Chester Ray Smith; and her siblings, Mike Broadus and Jayne Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Cyndie Smith of Burlington, KY and Steve Smith (Lisa) of Hoover, AL; her grandchildren, Matthew Smith (Carly) of Portland, OR and Kristin Smith of Vestavia Hills, AL; her siblings, Susan Hichew of Lyons, IL and Dick Broadus (JoAnn) of Madison, IN; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Broadus of Upton, KY. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rising Sun Methodist Church or the Burlington Fire/EMS Protection District.
