He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Pat and Dan Finke; his father John William Hartman, Jr.; and his stepfather Rick Goodman. He is survived by: his children, Matthew Hartman, Alex Hartman and Emma Ruth Hartman; his mother Pam Goodman; his sisters, Tonya Hickman (Scott), Shannon Fladeland (Barry), Brandi Hartman and Kristin Herald (Josh); his aunt Lisa Hartman; and his uncles, Bill White, Daniel Finke (Tina) and David Finke.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Alliance Funeral Home & Cremation Center (7816 Dixie Hwy, Florence, KY 41042). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the John W. Hartman Memorial Fund in support of his children, Matthew, Alex, and Emma. Donations can be made at any Fifth Third Bank location or via Venmo @Heraldk12.
