She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Borders and Roberta Lycans Borders; her daughter Ginger Carter Johnson; her sister Patricia Ann Day; and her niece Missi Bester (David Carter).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Tiffani Carter, Whitney Carter and Shawn Johnson. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
