It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Barnett (Burlington, Kentucky), born in Covington, Kentucky, who passed away on March 29, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, George Gier and Marguerite Gier (Cayton); her son Eric Barnett; and her siblings, Joseph Gier and Martha Kroth.

She is survived by : her husband James Barnett; her daughter Julie Lancaster (David); her stepchildren, Debra Imholt and Mark Barnett; her grandchildren, Jason Imholt, Tony Imholt, Adele Fabino, Jenny Lancaster and Josiah Lancaster; and her sister Kimberly Gier. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
