She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Zech and Welma Zech; and her sister Mel Zech. She is survived by: her husband Daniel Garls; her children, Brandy Lyons (David) and Joshua Garls; her grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Mitchell Lyons and Morgan Kaufmann; and her sisters, Sandra Hesterberg (Karl) and Susan Flier (Jerry). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
