We are sad to announce that on October 28, 2025, at the age of 89, Robert Mitchell of Burna, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Robert may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his wife Hattie Pearl Mitchell; his parents, George Clinton and Lela Eline Mitchell (Ramage); and his brother William H. Mitchell. He is survived by: his daughter Felicia Renee Belcher of Henderson, KY.; his stepchildren, Teresa Ford (Steve) of Orlando, FL., Deborah Suits (Ken) of Burna, Randy Martin (Margaret) of New Johnsonville, TN. and Robby Martin (Michelle) of Talbot, TN.; and his sister Vivian Monroe. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services (212 E Main St, Salem, KY 42078). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
