With sadness, we share the passing of Rodney Stevens of Burnside, Kentucky. Rodney, born on May 29, 1961, passed away on October 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Stevens II and Maudie Branum Stevens; and his siblings, Jeff Stevens and Sandra Sue Stevens. He is survived by: his wife Mary Vaughn Stevens; his children, Rodney E. Stevens (Kimberly) of Somerset, Peyton Stevens (Jacklyn) of Burnside, Michelle Stevens (Troy Lewis) of Somerset, Jaime Glover (Jimmy Glover) of Somerset and Nicole Wallace (Michael) of Burnside; and his brothers, Thomas Stevens III of Burnside, Don E. Stevens of Burnside and Mike Carrender of Burnside. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Southern Oaks Funeral Home Chapel (2110 KY-914, Somerset, KY 42503). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Rodney Stevens Memorial Fund C/O Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
