He is survived by : his wife Gena Turner Lea; his daughters, Ciara Kells (Derrick), Ceanna Stephenson (Aric) and Sarena Amburgey (Ryan); his siblings, Joyce Holt (Don), Betty Mastin, Norma Metcalf, Gary Lea (Teresa), Bobby Lea (Joy) and Paul Lea (Jeanie); and his grandchildren, Tayden Stephenson, Kobe Kells and Graelyn Stephenson.
