He was predeceased by: his parents, David Francis and Susie Jane Tucker Maxwell. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Maxwell; his children, James (Sherri), R. L. (Violet), Leland (Jacqueline), Wayne Maxwell (Linda) and Geneva Carter (Bill); and his grandchildren, Bradley Maxwell (Cassie), Valerie Maxwell, Clarissa Wilson (Tony), Malia Maxwell, Mason Maxwell (Taylor), Stephanie Carter and Adrienne Hedges. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
