He is survived by: his wife Sharon Simpson Teegarden; his daughter Laura Winkle (Ryan); his siblings, Roy, Jerry, Jimmy, Timmy, Randy Teegarden and Gwen Teegarden; and his grandchildren, Lindsay and Jackson Winkle.
