He was predeceased by : his parents, Emmett Sendelbach and Lucille Beck Sendelbach; his wife Susan Duckworth Sendelbach; and his sisters, Jean Zechella and Shirley Schneider.

He is survived by : his children, Robert Sendelbach (Desiree), Michael Marshall (Ambery), Donna Vance (Nicholas), Amy and Pamela Sendelbach; his siblings, Edward, Larry, Louie (Tony Sendelbach), Alvin (Billy Schack), Claire Neltner, Linda Mastin and Ann Hanson; and his grandchildren, Caitlin Strickland, Nicholas and Cheyenne Rose Vance.
