He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. Cahill and Ethel Cahill (Parks). He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Cahill (Moran); his stepdaughter Sheila Wright (Mike); his grandchildren, Adam Wright, Austin Wright and Michaela McClanahan (Cameron); his great grandchildren, Carter and Corey McClanahan; and his siblings, Bill Cahill, Jerry Cahill (Beth), Mike Cahill (Mary), Diane LaFollette (Jim) and Brenda Meyer (Rick).
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Peoples Funeral Home (8340 US Hwy 27, Butler, KY 41006). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Frances Xavier Catholic Church (202 2nd St, Falmouth, KY 41040).
Memorials are suggested to the St. Francis Xavier Knights of Columbus.
