He was predeceased by: his parents, N. C. Hooks and Eva Ahart Hooks. He is survived by: his daughter Charley Renee Hooks of Cadiz; his brother Randy Hooks (Vicki) of Cadiz; and his grandchildren, Eva Angeleah Miller (Christian Mayward), Eden Paige Miller (Aaron Flowers), Alton Clayton Gray and Aiden Justice Wilson. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
