It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cora Ella Kirby Mitchell of Cadiz, Kentucky, who passed away on February 6, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Whitson Kirby and Ilean Kirby (Adams); her stepmother Mary Alice Kirby; her husband Norris G. Mitchell; her sister Kay Creamer; her brother-in-law Robert Earl Fowler; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Johnson and Brian Johnson.

She is survived by : her children, Belinda "Lanie" Johnson (Corky) of Cadiz, Pam McCallan of Bowling Green, KY and Keith Mitchell (Stacey) of Gallatin, TN; her grandchildren, Patrick Johnson (Carey), Christy Wood, Elizabeth Mitchell Wentworth (Cole), Eric Mitchell and Isaac Mitchell; her great grandchildren, Maddie Johnson, Eva Johnson, Emerson Johnson and Baylor Johnson; her sisters, Thelma Fowler of Cadiz, Joyce Anderson (Joe) of Cadiz and Carolyn Freeman (Randy) of Cadiz; her brother-in-law Tommy Creamer of Indianapolis, IN; her friend Diane Light of Cadiz; and also Jeri Lynn Johnson.
