He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Martin and Mildred Marie Ford Martin; and his brother Anton "Steve" Martin. He is survived by: his siblings, Wanda Whorton (Will) of Hopkinsville, Terry Lynn Merrick of Jacksonville, FL, Greg Martin (Sandea) of Clarksville, TN and Dwight Martin (Trevor) of Princeton; and his niece Meiko Berlack of Princeton. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Harrison Street Baptist Church. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West (5817 Fort Campbell Blvd, Hopkinsville, KY 42240).
