He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Southwick and Virginia Southwick (Condon); his siblings, Ned Southwick, Mary Jane Wallace, Betty Jennings and Ruth Sams; and his brothers-in-law, Bob Wallace, John Jennings, Bernie Sams and Stephen Oakley.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Oakley Southwick of Cadiz; his son David Southwick of Cadiz; his grandchildren, Haile, Makenna and Lathan Southwick; his great grandchild Gianna Southwick; his sisters-in-law, Penny Southwick and Penny Anderson (Jimmy); and his aunt Virginia Gardner. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Goodwin Funeral Home Inc. (138 Main St, Cadiz, KY 42211). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 10:55 AM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West (5817 Fort Campbell Blvd, Hopkinsville, KY 42240).
