He was predeceased by: his parents, George Allen Gipson and Virginia Alice Carpenter Gipson; and his son Douglas Gipson. He is survived by: his children, Anthony Gipson (Sandra) of Maricopa, AZ, Merilee Frye (Marcus) of Cadiz, KY, Sherilee Jones (David) of Murray, KY and Ryan Gipson (Kasia) of Buckeye, AZ; and his grandchildren, Hayla, Kanisha, Marcanah, Amberlie, Caleb, Hunter, Victor, Lucas and Max. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
