He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Eldridge and Nancy Lee Hendricks (Wallis); his wife Katherine Thomas Hendricks; his son Willard Dale Hendricks; his grandson Robert Baas; and his siblings, Charles "Snooky" Thomas, Terry "Bill" Hendricks, Alton "Bud" Hendricks, Garner Hendricks, Malcolm Ray Hendricks, Jack Turner Hendricks, Margaret Hendricks Henderson and Martha Hendricks Stephens.
He is survived by: his children, James Maxfield Hendricks (Cindy) of Lewisburg, KY and Rosemary Hendricks of Cadiz; his brother Earnest Hendricks (Ernestine) of Murray, KY; his sister-in-law Barbara Hendricks of Cadiz; his grandchildren, Lee Gordon Hendricks (Amy Gorelick), Jeremy Knois, Jamie Lynn Knois, Mike Baas (Stephanie), AJ Baas (Courtney), Brandon Thomas Hendricks (Kendra Lenham), Brian Eldridge Hendricks (Amber), Alicia Katherine Knight (Mitch) and Mary Chrislynn Hlebovy (Aaron); his great great grandchildren, Melanie, Graham Hendricks, Dalton Knois, Aubree Thornhil (Titus), Ella, Ero, Ava Knois, Luke, Will, Ben Baas, Colt Rogers, Claire, Caroline Baas, Jackson, KayLee, Layton Hendricks, Coraline Hendricks, Sophie Michelle, Rayleigh Ann Hendricks, Tristan Messing, Liam Xander, Quinn Hendricks, William Jace, Alexander James, Noah Weston Hlebovy and Kit Knois; and his close friends, Elizabeth, Matthew, Morgan, Emma Russell and Covan Borum. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Goodwin Funeral Home Inc. (138 Main St, Cadiz, KY 42211). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
