She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Laird and Henrietta Milam; her husband Torby McAllister Jr.; and her siblings, Alice Reed, Leona Boyd, Roberta Carney and Clarence Laird.

She is survived by : her daughter Mary Miller; her granddaughter Brittany Stewart of Charlotte, NC; her sister Polly Hancock of Texarkana, TX; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Bogard, Madie Calhoun, Alex McAllister of Cadiz, KY. and Tommy Calhoun of Cadiz, KY..
