He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Henry Haslett and Maude Faye Hobson Haslett; his former wife Mona Gail Haslett; and his wife Jonez Haslett. He is survived by: his children, Gregory "Blane" Haslett (Christine) of Cadiz, KY, Dana L. Haslett (Sharon) of Beechmont, KY, Shane Haslett (Renee) of Greenville, KY, Rick Tapley of Plantersville, MS and Michael Tapley (Angie) of Senatobia, MS; his siblings, Donald Haslett (Kathy) of Vernon, CO, Joseph Haslett (Jamie) of Springfield, MO and Twila Presnell (Paul) of Nokomis, IL; and his grandchildren, Tara, Sharis, Dane, Caleb, Leah, Trent, Connor and Savannah. He is also survived by his 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM and on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home (2504 S Virginia St, Hopkinsville, KY 42240). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
