It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ava Christine McGehee of Calhoun, Kentucky, born in Rumsey, Kentucky, who passed away on October 11, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, James Dillon and Pearl Harmon Lindsey; her husband Charles T. McGehee; and her siblings, Dennis Lindsey, Bennett Lindsey, Nova Welborn and Emogene Austin.

She is survived by : her daughter Linda Carol Dick of Murray; her grandchildren, Scott Hagerman (Jenny) of Owensboro and Shannon Wells (Kevin) of Owensboro; and her great grandchildren, Zachary Hagerman, Krystin Wells and Morgan Wells.

The Ava Christine McGehee family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Calhoun Baptist Church, P.O. Box 283, Calhoun, Kentucky 42327.
