It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn Guy of Calhoun, Kentucky, who passed away on June 10, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Carolyn Guy to show support.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Earl and Edna Marie Evans Jennings; her husband Chester Guy; her daughter Sharon Kaye Sallee; and her grandson Riley Scott Sallee.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Brian Sallee of Louisville, Terry Owen of Owensboro and Kerry Bailey of Calhoun; and her siblings, Ray Jennings (Diane) of Lake Malone, Dorothy Maxwell of Calhoun, Linda Pruner (Jim) of Bristol and Kim Moore (Roy) of Hazard. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel (300 Main St, Calhoun, KY 42327). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at the Mt. Vernon Baptist Cemetery (5215 KY-256, Calhoun, KY 42327).
