She was predeceased by: her parents, Wiley Eli and Nola Mae Parker Eli; her husband LaRay Freed; and her close friend Ed Lewis. She is survived by: her daughters, Penny Brown of Richmond and LaDonna Wade (Jimmy) of Calhoun; her stepdaughters, Lisa Arnold (Tommy) of Clarksville, Tennessee and Donna Thompson (Steve) of Clarksville, Tennessee; and her grandchildren, Amy Molar (Phillip), Nathan Wade (Sara Jane) and Ethan Wade (Maria). She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
