He is survived by: his former spouse Nayla Faye Baker; his wife Debra Ann Hall; his daughter Julie LeeAnn James (Ryan) of Hawesville; his grandchildren, Leah James and Jaydon James; and his sisters, Dorothy Kanipe (Larry) of Owensboro and Ann Sanderfur (T. C.) of Hartford.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Buck Creek Baptist Church (3788 US-431, Calhoun, KY 42327). A burial will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at the Phillips Family Cemetery.
