He was predeceased by : his parents, Ira James and Lydia Evelyn Troutman Reeves; his son Danny Reeves; and his brothers, J. C. Reeves and Curtis Reeves.
He is survived by : his children, John P. Reeves of Indianapolis and Paula Hurt of Evansville; his daughter-in-law Elizabeth Reeves; and his sister Mary Lillian Beck of St. Louis. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
