He is survived by: the mother of his children Lois Doolin; his children, Herman Doolin Jr. (Carol), Evelyn Roberts and Lisa Hale (Bobby); his daughter-in-law Billie Smith; his grandchildren, Robert Penwell, Christopher Doolin, Jason Doolin, Bradley Doolin, Bryan Roberts, Eric Roberts (Emily), Kristy Truitt (Justin), Kevin Hale, Joe Hale (Becky), Jenny Asher (Jason) and Mike T. Smith; and his nephew Kenneth Doolin. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
