He was predeceased by : his parents, Orville Cox and Della Cox; his brothers, Larry Cox and Danny Cox; and his siblings-in-law, Don Orthober, Sandy Thurman and Jenny Orthober.
He is survived by : his nephew Todd Smith; his wife Janice Cox; his children, Lori K Tharp (David), Erin M Cox and James Ryan Cox (Lisa); his grandsons, Ethan and Noah Tharp; and his siblings, Patricia Cox, Orville Cox Jr. (Kathy), Barbara Jo Smith, John Cox, Gary Cox (Donna), Cindy Thurman, Timothy Cox (Joyce) and Terry Cox (Teresa). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, along with a host of relatives and friends.
