Richard Birkett Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Birkett of California, Kentucky, born in Newport, Kentucky, who passed away on September 24, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur and Irene (Cass); his brother Roger Birkett; his father-in-law Thomas J. Herms; and his sister-in-law Marianne Seigel Herms.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Brad Birkett, Todd Phelps (Holly), Danny Phelps (Sarah) and Erin Birkett; and his close friend Ray Pauly. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
