He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard F. Vinson, Sr. and Hazel Vinson (Miller); his wife Joan Vinson (Dupraz); and his nieces, Patti Koeltz and Bonnie Peabody.

He is survived by: his sister Elizabeth Royce (James) of Tupelo, MS; his sister-in-law Peggy Peabody (Dupraz); his niece Julie Wade (Happy); and his nephews, Richard Peabody and David Peabody (Mercury). He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews; and great great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to St. Elizabeth Foundation, c/o Hospice, 1 Medical Village Dr., Edgewood, KY, 41017.
