Bernice Young Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2025, at the age of 83, Bernice Young in Calvert City, Kentucky, born in Paducah, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Marissa Travis. She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Bladon (Mark) of Paducah, Teresa Travis (Donny) of Grand Rivers and Kathryn "Kathy" Ortt (Eric) of Paducah; her grandchildren, Heather Murt, Jennifer Overby, Maddie Ortt, Dylan Ortt, Collin Travis, Dr. Michael Travis, Hailey Edwards, Tristan Bladon and Chelsea Bladon; and her great grandchildren, Conner Murt, Chloe Murt and Willa Overby.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home (2410 Jackson St, Paducah, KY 42003). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at the Rosebower Baptist Church Cemetery (1120 Tyree Rd, Paducah, KY 42003).
